Newsletter time again. Time flies when we are busy
and we really have been busy these last two months. It seems like
everything is moving slowly, then all of a sudden all your hard work
kicks in and everything happens in one day.

At this time I would like to write a few words to
thank Pastor Steve Corum for the blessings he has brought to Wild
Flower. I have really enjoyed his ministry. In my book he did an
excellent job taking care of our pastoral needs while we were without a
full time minister. He has attended almost all of the Session and
Deacon meetings, taught a Pastoral Care class, visited the homebound
and hospitalized and was there for anyone who needed him. I could
tell that he really enjoyed the people at Wild Flower and as for us, we
enjoyed his compassion and great sense of humor. We will miss Pastor
Steve and his wife Jill very much -- but it is not like he is moving
away. He will still be in the neighborhood.
We will miss you -- but we will not forget you guys. A big THANK -YOU Rev. Steve.

Another person that I would like to thank is Rev.
Gene DeHoogh. He has been faithfully moderating the Session and
Congregational meetings since we were without a full time minister. He
has been there every time we needed him and has brought to us great
wisdom through many decisions. Rev. DeHoogh has done a lot of
encouraging and holding us together so we can continue God's work. A big THANK-YOU Rev. DeHoogh.

I am looking forward to working with Rev. Dave and helping him with his ministry at Wild Flower. I see that he has some great ideas and a lot of energy to help us spread the word of God. This will be a great time for Wild Flower. I just want to thank the PNC for finding him. Most of all, THANK-YOU Lance Smith for chairing the PNC.
Living His Love,
Larry E. Anderson, Clerk of Session
